Ipe wood is extremely dense and durable. It’s incredible hardness and strength makes it well suited for outdoor flooring applications. The ability to resist the harsh weather and rough usage is appreciably higher than other alternatives. It has an extremely dense interlocking grain which can be either wavy or straight, and offers superior slip resistance.

Installation:

Acclimation of the wooden surfaces for 1-2 weeks. Any usage of plastic or polythene is not recommended to ensure complete drying of the wood.

IPE outdoor flooring pieces are glued to the floor.

Proper spacing is maintained to counter any expansion due to environmental conditions.

Extra/unwanted edges are trimmed.
WPC
Wood Plastic composite (WPC) is type of floor that has a basic structure of top vinyl veneer plus a rigid extruded core of wood. This product is very popular with architects, builders etc. due to its waterproof, rigid and dimensionally stable characteristics. The vinyl layer of WPC flooring provides cushion and comfort and also absorbs impact sounds. This makes walking on the floor a pleasurable activity as well as provides sound dampening effect contributing towards a quieter room.

Aluminium profiles are placed with 16 or 18 inches’ gap depending on site

The WPC planks are placed along these profiles following a pattern.

With suitable pattern being followed interlocking through groves is possible between two planks
